Jayapura – Realizing the Binmas Noken INP village, the Jayapura Sub-Regional Police Binmas Unit visited Mosso Village, Muara Tami District, inviting residents to open new gardens for the level of community food security, Saturday (27/3/2021) morning.
The Noken Binmas activity was led directly by the Head of the Jayapura Sub-Regional Police Binmas Unit, the Senior Police Inspector Piter Kendek, as well as the police’s security and public order officers (Bhabinkamtibmas) Police First Inspector Assistant Village Nurdin Makuasang, followed by ten members of the Farmer Group.
According to Police Senior Inspector Piter Kendek, the activity began with gathering residents who were farmers and providing motivation for enthusiasm in realizing food security in Mosso village.
“So, this is done to improve food security during the Covid-19 pandemic in the jurisdiction of the Jayapura Sub-Regional Police,” said the Head of the Binmas Unit.
He said, after giving directions, his party immediately shared tasks with the farmers by dividing them into four groups.
“We motivate so that the farmers are enthusiastic about working, we immediately share our tasks by dividing them into four working groups with their respective duties,” he said.
The groups are divided, namely cleaning the grass, cleaning the wood, burning the grass and wood, and the kitchen group that prepares food.
“We do the work to make the land for food security all day long from morning to evening, and we just need to continue planting it,” he concluded.
