INP Increase Quota for Native Papuans, 396 Police Join Police Inspector Schools

Papua – The Chief of INP General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, through the Deputy for Human Resource, gave additional quotas to Brigadier personnel who are native Papuans to attend officer school.

Head of INP Public Relations Division Inspector General Argo Yuwono explained, based on a letter from the INP Headquarters HR Assistant, the Papua Regional Police received an additional quota of 77 people. Meanwhile, the West Papua Regional Police that was received was 150 people.

“So the total Papua Regional Police Brigadier who attended the Police Inspector School (SIP) education force 50 in 2021 was 246 people. Then, West Papua Regional Police 150,” said Argo in his statement, Jakarta, Saturday (13/3).

Prospective students who are Papuan Regional Police Brigadiers consisting of Indigenous Papuans (OAP) and these newcomers have taken the selection stage from administrative checks to the last Individual Work Script Examination (NKP) has been declared to have passed the election.

For the INP Brigadier, indigenous Papuans who participated in the selection from the initial administrative examination to the last Individual Work Script (NKP) exam all had been accommodated and passed.

“The Brigadiers who are declared to have passed will attend the Police Inspector School (SIP) in Sukabumi for seven months,” said Argo.
