The Chief of Papua Regional Police Affirms Seriousness in Facing KKB

Papua – In facing the Papua Armed Criminal Group (KKB), INP sent 100 Mobile Brigade troops.

Hundreds of personnel from the South Kalimantan Regional Police Mobile Brigade will be on duty in the Papua Regional Police.

They will serve there for six months. In the operational area, BKO troops will carry out the task of carrying out patrols and security of areas prone to disruption of the Papuan KKB.

Meanwhile, The Chief of Papua Regional Police, Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri, admitted that he would not take a step back in facing the Papua Armed Criminal Group (KKB). The first step taken by the Chief of Regional Police was to apply a welfare approach in areas prone to the Papuan KKB.

“We will not take a step back, of course, in a lenient way,” explained the Chief of Regional Police.

Besides, the Vice Chief of Regional Police, who is also part of the Binmas Noken task force, will carry out what has been initiated, including collaborating with the Nemangkawi task force assigned by the Police leadership to take approach steps.
