Ensure Intan Jaya’s Conduciveness, INP Maximizes Community Policing Through FKPM

Papua – The government and the local community are doing community service in Intan Jaya to build a place to live that is more conducive than before

Ropinus Sondegau, a Papuan Youth Leader, in his written statement on Friday, said that community service activities were very positive and extraordinary, being one of the solutions to maintain security in the Intan Jaya Regency area.

“Seeing Papua as our area while previously the situation was uncomfortable and unsafe, but the process is slow with various ways we are doing so that these young people in Intan Jaya,” said Ropinus.

Gratitude for Intan Jaya’s conducive condition was also conveyed by the female intellectual figure, Rehina Belau. Rehina expressed her gratitude to all parties for creating a safe and peaceful atmosphere in the Intah Jaya area. According to Rehina, the news in the media that said Intan Jaya was not safe was fake news.

Chief of Intan Jaya Sub-Regional Police, Police Superintendent Sandi Sultan said that the members of Binmas Noken provided assistance in the form of gasoline, snacks, sugar, coffee, tea and areca nuts to the community.

Members of Binmas Noken plan to form a youth organization by promoting the function of the community police (Polmas) which involves Papuan youth groups.

“It will be formed in a youth organization by prioritizing the function of Community Police (FKPM) and registered at Kesbangpol, and will become the first Youth Organization in Intan Jaya so that all community activities run smoothly,” Sandi said.
