Papua – Mobile Brigade Corps of INP sent six best Police Woman officers (Polwan) to join the Nemangkawi Task Force (Satgas) to strengthen Operation Nemangkawi in Papua.
“There are six of our policewomen who went to Papua. When the country called, he was ready. Then our policewoman is a tough policewoman, we prove it. This is a form of state accountability to the Police Mobile Brigade Corps,” said Commander of Mobile Brigade Corps of INP, Inspector General Anang Revandoko, Friday (5/3/2021).
Anang said the six Brimob police officers had been trained and tested for their toughness in Tanah Cenderawsih.
The sending of six policewomen aims to protect Papua’s land from the threat of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB).
“Six policewomen will also work together with Indonesian Military (TNI) personnel’s,” he said.
According to Anang, the INP’s sending of six Mobile Brigade Police officers in a challenging humanitarian operation was an extraordinary event.
“My message in the future, we police women must be more resilient. Don’t just tell people outside, that we are police women just because we are women, we can’t. But we policewomen must be able to see the situation and conditions that occur. My hope is, we go completely, go home complete with the best results for the nation and country, “said Inspector General Anang.
